Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and streamline the accounts receivable process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, receipting, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expedite the collection of payments, reducing days sales outstanding.
  • Handle and resolve customer queries and invoice discrepancies efficiently and professionally.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant laws.
  • Prepare and present accurate accounts receivable reports to senior management.
  • Manage and develop the accounts receivable team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is desirable.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software and databases.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
