Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete and accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to assets, liabilities, profit and loss.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all payments are made and received in a timely manner.
  • Process payroll accurately and promptly.
  • Prepare financial reports for internal use, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Liaise with external auditors during annual audit process.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian and international accounting standards and legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior bookkeeping staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role, preferably in a digital or online business environment.
